The Municipality of Binasco requested a consultancy for the compliance of the structures and the building systems of the Castello Visconteo to be in conformity with the new technological and safety standards, as well as to meet the new needs of the settled functions. The Castle was erected by the Visconti between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries on the remains of a previous fortification which area today hosts the headquarters of various private and public associations, as well as the municipal offices, an exhibition space and a local police office. In order to better answer to the guidelines, a detailed survey was drafted as a result of many site inspections and the digitization and integration of a previous one.
